Survived. Stronger?
Time flies, 6 years never update a single post here.
We've been through Covid-19 together and we survived.
Everyone is struggling once back to normal.
Some face unemployment, some face divorce, some lost the loved one, some not even get to say goodbye or thank you....
I still remember I had meeting at 4am to complete the requirements related to regulations.
Start work in the same day at 8:30am as usual.
Regulator given two weeks from zero to hundred percent on special tasks.
Public were seeking for solutions and complain throughout the transition.
All departments were swamped.
Today, four years after Covid-19 and people attitude obviously changed since then.
People enjoy the current moment more.
Some people tend to spend more as they think "what if I die tomorrow? Better have enjoyment now";
Some people start savings as future emergency fund;
Some people choose not participate as they think "why I need to? That is pressure";
Some people give up their lives as they think "why I need to be suffer? No one will feel sad or remember me";
Some people choose not to do anything as they think "someone" will take care of them when they being tagged as "unfortunate one".
Everyone has own issues and everyone would fall into dilemma.
I still busy with heavy workloads, inhumanize working culture, challenging stakeholders, corporate hierarchy and "special" family...
Am facing pressure from volatile economy environment, spike cost of living, high inflation, low salary...
BUT there's always a door or window or a pathway.
It's your decision which way to go.
Human always regret on what being done.
Be your best, all out and if you failed at least you've tried.
Suicide cannot solve problems as your death leave regrets and sadness to people around you.
Brave to suicide but not brave to face the problems?
Solutions always more than problems, think harder and seek for help.
Let regret stay behind.
You only live once (YOLO).
Cheers, my dear friend!
Stay strong and stronger!
Feliz de la vida, c'est la vie.
In french means "happy" and "that's life".
